About Lorenz
Practice, not theory.
Before connecting people, companies, and markets, I spent years on the other side of the table myself.

Background
I didn't arrive at this work through consulting theory. Before I connected people, companies, and markets, I spent years on the operating side of business myself, in sales at a family-run company, in strategic client management, and most recently as Head of Aftersales for an international organization. That gives me a different starting point than most advisors: I have sat in the room where decisions about people, partners, and priorities actually get made.
Approach
That experience shapes how I work today. I don't approach an introduction, a search, or a property with a generic playbook. I ask what a specific role, partnership, or market genuinely requires in practice, not what a brief says on paper. It's a distinction that matters most in international engagements, where cultural context and real fit tend to decide more than a résumé or a listing ever could.
Network
My base is South Tyrol, with a working network that extends across Italy and the DACH region, and, increasingly, into international markets beyond Europe, including relationships that connect European companies with opportunities in Saudi Arabia and the Gulf. I move between these worlds in German, Italian, and English, with the ease of someone who has actually worked across them for years.
Method
Research points me toward the right companies and people. What matters more is judgment, knowing who's actually relevant, and a relationship real enough to turn that into an introduction. Every search I run and every property I scout is backed by direct knowledge of the people and companies involved, which is why the people I work with tend to come back.
Judgement
Whether the conversation is about entering a new market, filling a position that matters, or finding the right property, the question I'm actually answering is always the same one: is this the right connection, or just a convenient one. I only make the introduction once I know the answer.
Loyalty
To clients, candidates, and partners alike.
Judgement
Knowing when a connection is genuinely right, not just convenient.
Efficiency
No excess, no unnecessary steps, direct paths.
